Earning points is easy

Use your Visa Rewards credit and/or debit card for all your purchases big and small. From groceries to fuel to utility bills, your everyday purchases will really pay off. You will earn 1 point for every $1 spent on credit purchases and 1 point for every $4 spent on debit purchases.

Q: Why are we changing Rewards programs?

A: We feel this is a superior program and that you’ll feel more rewarded than ever! No other aspects of your VISA Credit Card will be changing, you’ll just have access to a better rewards program, and the ability for all debit card purchases to earn points as well.

Q: When will I see my Bonus Points?

A: Earn Up to 2,000 Bonus Points! 500 Bonus Points are earned when you log in to visarewards.amucu.org for the first time and 1,500 Bonus Points are earned after you spend $2,000 or more in the first 30 days. You will start to see your Bonus Points awarded to your account 60 days after you earn them.

Q: When does the shift from Scorecard Rewards to VISA Rewards by American United happen?

A: Rewards Credit Card users will continue earning Scorecard Rewards through June 30, 2022. Rewards Credit Card users AND Debit Card users will start earning VISA Rewards beginning July 1, 2022. Beginning mid-July we will contact all members to let them know they can register for a new Visa Rewards account. After registering, you’ll be able to login to see all of your old Scorecard Rewards points AND all of the new Visa Rewards points you’ve been accumulating since July 1st.

Q: Will I lose any rewards points in the process of switching programs?

A: No points will be lost whatsoever! All existing points from the Scorecard Rewards program will migrate to the new Visa Rewards program throughout July. Your July credit card statement will show your full balance of rewards points including your bonus points for creating a new Visa Rewards account!

Q: When do my Scorecard Rewards points move to VISA Rewards by American United?

A: All Scorecard Rewards Points will begin moving to the new VISA Rewards program mid-July and should be complete by July 31, 2022. July statements should be accurate, but if you feel there is a discrepancy, we will work together to make it right!

Q: What is the VISA Rewards website?

Q. How do I register for a Visa Rewards account?

A: Visit visarewards.amucu.org to preview the program and beginning mid-July, click on the “Register” button in the upper right corner. We will let you know when the site is accepting new registrations! Once you’re able to register, you’ll earn 500 bonus points!

Q: Who do I contact if I am missing points?

A: If you feel you are missing points from the old program, call First Californian at 951-267-9951. If you feel your new points from July 1st or later are inaccurate, contact Visa Rewards by American United at 855-975-2237.
